Dr. Ambrose will present a Trail of Tears National Historic Trail program to the Steelville Missouri Community Association at their Annual Groundhog Day Celebration. New discoveries about the Trail of Tears in that area will be discussed along with acknowledgment of Erin Whitson’s Ph. D. project’s focus area, only in general terms. The geo-referenced trail map across the regions contemporaneous plat map and contemporary plat map will highlight the presentation. – BA
